Domaine Henri Milan - Le Vallon 2019

The Domaine Milan is located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence near the Alpilles in Provence . It is a family estate which was created by Robert Milan , then passed on to his son Henri and which is now managed by his children Emmanuelle and Théophile . The estate benefits from a microclimate, protected by the local fauna and flora, between the Alps and the Mediterranean. The plots spread over 20 hectares are cultivated on several types of soil, mainly composed of blue marls on limestone scree. The estate, certified in organic farming since 2002, is experimenting with biodynamics.

Le Vallon is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault with a little Niellucio . The whole bunches macerate for 5 days in concrete vats and are blended as soon as they are vinified. Devatting takes place during fermentation.
