ANGOSTURA - Liqueur - Amaro di Angostura - 35%
The history of Angostura begins in 1824, when Dr. Siegert wanted to perfect his Bitter recipe in the city of Angostura in Venezuela. Angostura Bitters is an essential ingredient for making cocktails such as the Manhattan or the Old Fashioned. In 1875 the company moved to Trinidad , where it still resides today. It was in the 1940s that Angostura began distilling its own Trinidadian rum , the range of which consists of white and amber rums.
Angostura's master blenders have combined Aromatic Bitters with a neutral spirit and added spices to create this Amaro di Angostura herbal liqueur. Alcohol, spices and bitter herbs macerated together for 3 months.
