The Maison Dolin, a prestigious artisanal distillery located in Chambéry, in the heart of the Savoie region, has been preserving an ancestral and authentic know-how for over 200 years. Two emblematic families, the Chavasse\/Dolin family and the Sevez family, have passionately succeeded each other at the head of this historic company. Through key eras such as the annexation of Savoie to France, the Great War, and the bombings of Chambéry in 1944, Dolin has rigorously and excellently preserved its traditions.
The Dolin distillery relies on traditional manufacturing methods, passed down from generation to generation, drawing inspiration from the natural richness of the Alpine mountains. It carefully selects exceptional ingredients from wild Alpine plants such as génépi and woundwort, thus contributing to the preservation and enhancement of threatened local cultures. In perfect harmony with its region, Dolin favors local producers and works with suppliers near Chambéry for all its packaging materials, including labels, cartons, and glass bottles, while the few ingredients not produced in its workshops, such as lemonade or Savoie apple juice, also come from producers located less than 30 km away. This sustainable and responsible approach strengthens the quality and authenticity of each bottle.
The Dolin Vermouth Rouge stands out for its complex and harmonious aromas, blending sweet notes of stewed fruits, prune, and walnut with a subtle herbal touch.
