Domaine de Naisse - Brenot Beranger - Viré Clessé 2021
The Domaine de Naisse is located in Laizé, in the Mâconnais in the south of Burgundy . It was created in 1980 by Guy Beranger , first engaged in a cooperative cellar, and who began to vinify at the property in 1997. Christophe Brenot joined him in 1999. The estate now extends over more than 20 hectares following the acquisition of plots in the Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Viré-Clessé appellations. The estate is now managed by Christophe and Elodie, his wife and daughter of Guy.
Viré-Clessé is made from Chardonnay , from the La Montagne plot located in the hamlet of Quintaine in Clessé, and from three micro-plots in the places called En Gouvre, Les Raverettes and La Troupe. The age of the vines is around 25 years. The wine is entirely vinified in stainless steel vats .
