The brand pays homage to Su Dongpo (poet, painter, judge, philosopher, calligrapher, governor, magistrate, tutor to the future Emperor Zhezong) who distilled tea for his personal consumption. Song Cha distills ten great tea vintages around the world to surprise tea enthusiasts and spirits lovers. The spirits are made from only 3 ingredients: tea from organic farming, pure water and alcohol.

Lapsang Souchong is a smoked black tea grown in southeast China. Its characteristic flavor comes from its drying over cypress or spruce fires which give it its smoky taste.
