Domaine de la Folie - Rully Red - Clos de Bellecroix 2021
The Domaine de la Folie is located in Chagny, in the Côte Chalonnaise in Burgundy . Passed down through the generations for more than 300 years, Clémence and Baptiste Dubrulle have been in charge of the property since 2010, after experiences in press relations and engineering. The estate extends over 13 hectares in the heart of the Rully appellation. It counts among its wines the most sought-after climates of the appellation such as Clos Saint-Jacques in Premier Cru Monopole and Vieilles vignes or Clos de Bellecroix. The vineyard is conducted in sustainable agriculture .
The Rully Rouge Clos de Bellecroix is made from Pinot Noir grown on a clay-limestone soil with an area of 3.18 hectares, and whose vines are 50 years old. After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and then put into pre-fermentation maceration. During vinification, pumping over and delestage are carried out. The wine is aged in vats.
