Eminente - Rum from Cuba - Reserva 7 years - 41.3%
Eminente is a brand of rum produced in Cuba by the island's youngest master rum maker, César Martí . He learned his trade from his grandparents, raised in the sugar cane fields stretching as far as the eye could see. Rich in this family passion, he chose to dedicate his career to the study, transmission and evolution of Cuban know-how. Upon completing his studies in physics and engineering, César Martí achieved the prestigious status of the country's youngest Maestro Ronero in just nine years. Eminente pays homage to wild Cuba right down to its bottle and its logo. The textured glass and the silhouette of the island on the label evoke the country's totem animal, the crocodile.
Eminente Reserva is a new type of rum made with 70% aged aguardientes, the highest proportion of all Cuban rums. Occidente, a western-style rum, is produced near Havana. Known for being intense, dry and lively, it is ideal in cocktails. On the other side of the island is designed the Oriente rum, oriental style. Sweet and fruity, it is reserved for tasting. Coming from the province of Villa Clara, located in the very center of the country, Eminente combines the best of both regions. The rum is aged for a minimum of 7 years in white oak barrels.
