Domaine Decelle et Fils - Chambolle Musigny 2020
Domaine Decelle & Fils is located in Corgoloin, on the border between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy . The estate was founded in 2008 by Olivier Decelle , drawing on his experience in Roussillon, Bordeaux and the Rhône. Its 8-hectare Burgundy vineyard is spread over several appellations such as Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Beaune Premier Cru, Chorey-Lès-Beaune and Côte-de-Nuits-Village. The vines are divided into 15 plots and certified organic since 2010. All these vines have in common more or less clay soils with limestone bedrock. The differences in terroirs relate to very fine variations in altitude, exposure, density and thickness of soil, slope or type of soil.
Chambolle-Musigny is made from Pinot Noir whose vines are around 70 years old. The grapes are harvested manually and sorted twice. The vinification is carried out in whole berries, without inputs. A gentle extraction is carried out with a few pigeages. The wine is aged for 20 months in barrels .
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
