Eminente - Cuban Rum - Gran Reserva 10 years - 43.5%
Eminente is a brand of rum produced in Cuba by the island's youngest master rum maker, César Martí . He learned his trade from his grandparents, raised in sugar cane fields stretching as far as the eye can see. Rich in this family passion, he chose to dedicate his career to the study, transmission and evolution of Cuban know-how. After completing his studies in physics and engineering, César Martí rose to the prestigious status of the country's youngest Maestro Ronero in just nine years. Eminente pays homage to wild Cuba right down to its bottle and logo. The textured glass and the silhouette of the island displayed on the label evoke the country's totem animal, the crocodile.
Eminente Gran Reserva is a new type of rum composed of 80% aged aguardientes, the highest proportion of all Cuban rums. Occidente rum, western style, is produced near Havana. Known to be intense, dry and lively, it is ideal in cocktails. On the other side of the island, Oriente rum is produced, in an oriental style. Sweet and fruity, it is reserved for tasting. Coming from the province of Villa Clara, located in the center of the country, Eminente combines the best of both regions. The rum is aged for a minimum of 10 years in French oak barrels.
