Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils - Montrachet Grand Cru 2007
Maison Bouchard Père & Fils is a wine estate and trading house located in Burgundy . It was founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard. Bouchard Père & Fils was formed over time with different members of the Bouchard family and the 9th generation is now in charge of the estate. The vineyard extends over 130 hectares on the Côte-d'Or, in prestigious appellations such as Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne or Meursault. The House was bought by the Henriot family from Champagne in 1995, then sold to François Pinault's Artémis group in 2022.
Montrachet Grand Cru is made from Chardonnay grown on a gravelly terroir. After manual harvesting and selection of the berries, the harvest is put into direct pressing. The wine is aged for 8 to 12 months in French oak barrels , 15% of which are new.
