Domaine Mickaël Bourg - Saint Péray 2021
Domaine Mickaël Bourg is located in Cornas, in the north of the Rhône Valley . The family estate was taken over and expanded by Mickaël Bourg in 2002. He farms his vineyard of around 2 hectares managed biodynamically with his wife and two children. The vines are grown mainly on granite soils, bringing minerality to the wines. The vinifications are natural, with little intervention and inputs. Fermentations occur spontaneously with native yeasts. For breeding, Mickaël Bourg favors the use of tuns.
Saint-Péray is made from Marsanne , the vines of which were planted in 1999 on clay-limestone terroir. After manual harvesting, the harvest is put into direct pressing and vinification takes place in stainless steel vats. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrels .
Grape variety: 100% Marsanne
