Fratelli Cosmo - Prosecco - Extra Dry
Bellenda is located in Vittorio Veneto, in the Veneto region of Italy . Since 1986, brothers Luigi and Umberto Cosmo have farmed 35 hectares of vines in the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, one of the most prestigious Prosecco production areas. Their philosophy is a strong attachment to tradition, dedication to sustainability, low impact on the environment and protection of their growing area.
Fratelli Cosmo is made from Glera grown in the best vineyards of the Cordignano, Sarmede and Cappella Maggiore area in the Treviso hills. The harvest is destemmed then the grapes are delicately pressed. After settling by gravity, the must is fermented at 18-20°C, then refermented in 100 hectoliter steel pressure fermenters for approximately two months, in accordance with the Italian method ( Charmat ). It is bottled with an Extra-Dry dosage of 12.80 g/L of residual sugars.
