Domaine des Bosquets - Gigondas Le Plateau 2021
Domaine des Bosquets is located in Gigondas , in the southern Rhône . It has a history that goes back six centuries, and since 2010, Julien Brechet has managed it. In 1995, the estate acquired a circular and gravity vat room, then in 2016 a plot workshop for micro-vinification. The 26 hectares are structured around different localities with great geological and micro-climatic diversity. The entire vineyard is managed in organic farming , certified since 2021.
The Plateau is a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Counoise and Clairette planted. The entire harvest is vinified in open demi-muids. The wine is aged for 18 months in very old 600 liter demi-muids .
