Domaine D'ici Là - Traditional Method - Brut Nature 2021
Domaine D'ici Là is located in the Bugey appellation area, in Savoie . Founded by Adrien Bariol , the estate covers approximately 6 hectares spread over three islands in the communes of Montagnieu, Lhuis and Groslée where the vines benefit from varied exposures and diverse soils. The slopes are steep and the row widths are not all equal: some plots cannot be mechanized. It cultivates emblematic grape varieties of the region, such as Altesse, Chardonnay, Mondeuse and Gamay. The vines are managed using certified organic farming .
This sparkling wine is made from Mondeuse, Altesse, Jacquère, Pinot Noir and Gamay . The vines are grown on a terroir of glacial moraines with low yields. After a very slow and gentle pressing, the wine is aged for 6 months in vats on fine lees. It is then aged according to the traditional method , on slats for 12 months. The wine is bottled without dosage .
