Château Roubine - Cru Classé - Premium Rosé 2024
Château Roubine is located in Lorgues, Provence . In 1955, Château Roubine was awarded a Cru Classé in the Côtes de Provence appellation, a recognition awarded to only 23 estates at the time. Since 1994, the estate has been owned by Valérie Rousselle , a native of Saint-Tropez. Under her leadership, the estate adopted sustainable viticulture practices, achieving certification in 2017. The property covers 130 hectares, including 72 hectares of vines cultivated on a well-drained clay-limestone terroir, reflected in the name "Roubine," meaning "stream" in Provençal.
The Cru Classé of Château Roubine is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Tibouren, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Rolle . The harvest is carried out at night to preserve the freshness of the grapes and prevent oxidation. The grape varieties are then directly pressed and vinified separately. The cuvée is composed by tasting, seeking the optimal blend of the different grape varieties.
