Domaine Bourgoin is a family estate located in the village of Tarsac, in the town of Saint Saturnin, in Charente. It has existed since 1933 and now covers 90 hectares. The Cognacs are produced without blending, without filtration, without coloring and without added sugar. The lots are isolated by vintage, by terroir (Premiers Bois, Fins Bois or Petite Champagne), and by cask (single cask). Old vintages are sold unreduced (full proof). Reductions are always made with rainwater to optimise aromatic lift. The rackings are performed in the new moon by gravity to best benefit from fluid mechanics. Bottling is done entirely by hand on the estate.
