RHUM HSE - Amber Rum - Fédrica MATTA - The Voyage of the Imaginary - Limited Edition - 40%

The house The Maugée is renamed Saint-Etienne in 1863 and passes from the status of candy to that of distillery following its acquisition by Amedee Aubery in 1882, this young captain of industry then modernizes the buildings and supplies the area with energy thanks to the Lézarde river which crosses the field and still serves today to dilute the cane juice. The Hayot family (Yves and José) bought the property in 1994 after a judicial reorganization of the former owners, renovations were then undertaken in the Martinique housing classified historic monument and the column is transferred to the Simon. The Saint-Etienne brand becomes HSE (for Habitation Saint-Etienne).

An invitation to an interior and artistic journey through this new vintage of HSE amber rum with the poetic name: "The Journey of the Imaginary". It is a continuation of the artistic exhibition of Federica Matta at Habitation Saint-Etienne, Gros Morne, Martinique. It took between 12 and 18 months of patience for this rum AOC Martinique develops its aromas all sweetness and finesse, its delicate flavors and its graceful profile in the French oak barrels of the house.
