Domaine MICHEL MAGNIEN - Morey Saint Denis "Très Girard" - Biodynamics 2015
It is in 1120 that we find the first mention of Morey, place of asylum of the monks of Cîteaux in the 14th century who probably had many vines and even a winery already in 1306. The appellation extends from Chambolle- Musigny in Gevrey-Chambertin and has around 148 hectares made up of 80% red wines. "Le Très Girard" is in fact the name of the owner of this parcel 2 centuries ago, Mr. Girard de Fropiac. Traits then Très is put for Crais, as if to designate the sand which dominates in the ground or makes it the bottom.
The "Très Girard" plot is located in the AOC Villages appellation under the "Clos Sorbè" Premiers Crus and the "Sorbets". The soil is composed of clay-limestone marls with white pebbles from the disintegration of the limestone bedrock.
This wine will go perfectly with a beef chuck with wine and onions.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
