COGNAC PAUL GIRAUD - Cuvée Très Rare- 40%
The 42-hectare vineyard of Paul Giraud is located in Bouteville, a town located in the heart of Grande Champagne, on clay-limestone soils. From culture to distillation, Paul Giraud gives priority to ancestral know-how to best serve the expression of his terroir through authentic cognacs that do not come from blends.
In order to preserve the quality of the Ugni-Blanc grapes, the harvest is still done manually. Winemaking and distillation are done at the property. Aging in oak barrels brings all its nobility. The particularly humid cellars give exceptional suppleness and mellowness to cognacs signed Paul Giraud.
Très Rare is an old brandy that has remained in oak barrels for many years. Its characteristics are assertive, with aromas of rancio, cigar box, leather and spicy fragrance. Very complex on the nose and palate, long finish and melted.
