Romain Le Bars - Lirac 2019
Romain Lebars’s vineyard is located in Lirac in the Rhône Valley where he produces wines under the appellations of Tavel, Lirac and Vin de France. After working for seven years with the Pfifferling family at Domaine de l'Anglore, he decided to go on his own, bought 1.2 hectares of vines and his first vintage was released in 2018. His philosophy: low yields, manual harvest, little or no intervention in the cellar, low doses of sulfur. The wine is produced by carbonic maceration, with direct pressing and infusions of the fruit. The wines are then aged in barrels of several wines.
Grape varieties: Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan
