Compagnie des Indes - Brazil - 8 ans - Epris - Brut de Fût - 53.2%
La Compagnie des Indes was created in 2014 by Florent Beuchet, an independent bottler from Burgundy. The idea arose from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East Indian companies of the 17th and 18th centuries, who selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them to their respective countries. Compagnie des Indes rums are selected with great rigour. They are bottled in Single Casks or blended, in order to bring out the typicity and quality of each destination.
The 8-year-old Brazil was distilled by the Epris Distillery in Brazil. It is a blend of molasses rums and pure cane juice rums, aged for 6 years in Brazil and then transported to Europe for a continental aging of 2 years.
