DOMAINE DE TREVALLON - Blanc 2019
Domaine Trévallon is located in the town of Saint-Etienne-du-Grès, on the northern slope of the Alpilles in Provence. The property extends over 17 hectares, made up of vines, scrubland, holm oaks, olive trees and almond trees. In 1950, Jacqueline and René Dürrbach bought Mas Chabert and in 1960, the adjoining property: Trévallon. Eloi Dürrbach planted the first vines in 1973, and has been managing the vineyard with Floriane for over thirty years. The emblematic bottle labels are the work of René Dürrbach, painter and sculptor and friends of many painters, including Pablo Picasso. The vineyard has been certified in organic farming since 2007.
Trévallon White is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Chardonnay and Grenache Blanc. The vinification and aging of each grape variety is carried out separately. Aging lasts 12 months in Burgundy barrels, 20% of which are new.
