CALVADOS - Julien Fremont - Hors d'âge - 41,5%
Julien Frémont is a producer of Cider and Calvados whose family farm is located in Saint-Georges-en-Auge, in the Pays d'Auge, in Normandy. It extends over approximately 20 hectares where apple trees and Norman cows coexist. The entire estate is carried out in certified organic farming with biodynamic practices.
All the apple varieties from the estate are used to produce Calvados. The juices that have fermented for 1 to 3 years are transferred to a still and then the brandy that comes out is aged in 400-litres barrels for 6 to 8 months before being aged for 4 to 5 years in old barrels having contained cider and pommeau.
