Domaine Petit Roy - Savigny les Beaune 2019

Domaine Petit-Roy is located in Chorey-Les-Beaune, in Burgundy. The estate is owned by Seiichi Wang. Born in China, he grew up in Japan and became interested in vines from the age of 22. He did an internship in a local domain in 2005 then left Japan to deepen his knowledge of wine in several prestigious domains and followed a training course in Beaune. He decided to stay in France and created the restaurant La Lune in Beaune to finally launch, in 2006, and create the Domaine Petit-Roy. He works 2.1 hectares of vines cultivated in non-certified biodynamic agriculture. 

The majority of its reds are worked in whole bunches. For aging, he does not use new barrels to avoid any marking by the wood. It still simply carries out a light sulphiting during aging to avoid any aromatic deviance.

Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
