WESTLAND - American Single Malt - Sherry Wood - 46%

Westland Distillery is located in Seattle, in the United States of America. It was co-founded in 2010 by Matt Hofmann, the master distiller. The distillery takes its water from the Cedar River Watershed and seven varieties of malt are used to produce the whiskey. The team is also involved in the Garry Oak Restauration project, that consists in planting a 4-hectare nature preserve just outside Tacoma, Washington.

This Sherry Wood edition is a blend of 5 malts, aged in hogshead and butt type barrels of the same origin as those used by Scottish distilleries.
