ANGOSTURA - Cocoa Bitter - 10cl - 48%
The history of Angostura begins in 1824, when Dr. Siegert wanted to perfect his Bitter recipe in the city of Angostura in Venezuela. Angostura Bitters is an essential ingredient for making cocktails such as the Manhattan or the Old Fashioned. In 1875 the company moved to Trinidad , where it still resides today. It was in the 1940s that Angostura began distilling its own Trinidadian rum , the range of which consists of white and amber rums.
Cocoa Bitters is made with Trinitario cocoa from Trinidad and Tobago. Rich notes of bitter cocoa, floral and hazelnut with a bold infusion of aromatic botanicals offer endless possibilities for remixing classic cocktails. It goes perfectly with sweet vermouth or aged spirits, such as whiskey, rum, cognac and tequila. And can bring an original touch to a main dish or a sweet treat.
