Yuza - First Edition - 2022 - 61%

Yuza Distillery is located in Yamagata Prefecture in Japan . Kinryu Corporation , the headquarters of the Yuza distillery, was established in 1950 through the investment of nine sake makers. It took two years of research to find the best place to produce the highest quality whisky. In 1996, Yuza's groundwater was recognized as one of the top 100 in Japan by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Making whiskey requires good quality cold water, clean air and moderate humidity, so the distillery's location at the foot of Mount Chokai is the perfect place to produce whisky.

This edition marketed in 2022 is the first whiskey from the distillery founded in 2018.
