Compagnie des Indes was created in 2014 by Florent Beuchet , an independent bottler from Burgundy. The idea was born from the Portuguese, English, Dutch and French East India companies of the 17th and 18th centuries, which selected rare commodities from distant lands and imported them into their respective countries. Compagnie des Indes rums are selected with great rigor. They are bottled in Single Casks or blended, in order to bring out the typicality and quality of each destination.

This edition comes from the Travelers Liquor Distillery, Belize . The rum was distilled in April 2008 and then aged for 14 years , including 12 months in Caroni rum barrels . It was bottled in June 2022 and 350 bottles were produced.
