The Oliver & Oliver Distillery is located in the Dominican Republic . The company was created in the ^19th century, originally in Cuba , by Don Juanillo Oliver and whose specialty was rums and cigars. The founders of Oliver & Oliver fled the country to settle in the Dominican Republic in 1963. The triple aging process is innovative and unique: it comes from an adaptation of the traditional Spanish method of Soleras . A multiplicity of carefully selected sugar cane distillates are used to produce the rums, which is quite unusual for a traditional Cuban rum. All rums are bottled, labeled and numbered manually by highly skilled artisans.

Exquisito is Oliver & Oliver's range of vintage rums . Each expression that makes up the range bears witness to a unique harvest resulting from an exceptional year. This 1990 was bottled on July 6, 2021.
