Wemyss Malts (pronounced 'Weyms' Malts') is an independent bottler from Scotland . The company was founded in 2005 by brother and sister William and Isabella Wemyss . The family have direct links to the history of Scotch whiskey, when Haig built the first distillery on their land in the Kingdom of Fife in 1840. The land has been used for many decades to grow quality barley and continues to grow. provide the best to maltsters for the production of whisky. Enthusiastic about his time spent with the wine blending experts of the South of France, William Wemyss was inspired to create distinctive and bold Scotch whiskies. Isabella Wemyss, with her eye and nose for uncompromising quality, sources Single Malts from Scotland and the finest casks from around the world . With the skills of their trusted Master Blenders, they take these precious ingredients and turn them into new and tasty creations.

A “ New Make ” is the alcoholic liquid with a high degree of alcohol that is released from the still during the production of spirits. It can be sold either completely unaged or with minimal aging.
