Chandon - Spritz Garden
Moët & Chandon is a Champagne House located in Epernay, in Champagne . It is one of the largest, comprising 1,150 hectares of estate vineyards plus other winemakers and a production capacity of 60 million bottles per year. The House was founded by Claude Moët in 1743. In the 1970s and 1980s, Moët & Chandon extended its empire beyond Champagne, partnering first with the Cognac house of Hennessy and then with the fashion giant Louis Vuitton, forming Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy ( LVMH ). Today, the group owns several other well-known wine brands, including Krug and Veuve Clicquot in Champagne, Château Cheval Blanc in Bordeaux and Cloudy Bay in New Zealand. He is also currently making sparkling wines in California, Argentina, Brazil and Australia under the Chandon label. More recently, Moët & Chandon acquired vineyards in India and China, where they are also finding new markets.
Chandon Garden Spritz is made from the Chandon Brut produced in Argentina , consisting of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sémillon. Vinification is carried out using the Charmat method . The sparkling wine is blended with a macerate of natural orange peel extracts sourced locally and spiced up with a secret blend of herbs and spices.
