Cognac Jean Luc Pasquet - White Pineau des Charentes - 18%
The Maison de Cognac Pasquet is located at a place called Chez Ferchaud-Eraville, in Bellevigne in Charente . In 1970, Jean-Luc Pasquet inherited from his uncle Albert and became responsible for the family estate comprising 8 hectares of vines in Grande and Petite Champagne. The estate expands to 14 hectares, cultivated since 1995 in certified organic farming . The 20 hectoliter still makes it possible to obtain fine and rich eaux-de-vie resulting from a double distillation which will then be aged for a minimum of 4 years, i.e. 2 more years of legal aging in wood to obtain the denomination "Cognac ". The House is now operated by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, of American origin.
This White Pineau des Charentes is made from grape juice specially selected in the vineyard and cognac eau-de-vie, from organic farming. It is a blend of Ugni Blanc (50%) and Montils (50%), grown on clay-limestone soil. It is aged in oak barrels for 30 months.
