Domaine Jean Teiller - Menetou Salon Blanc 2022

Domaine Jean Teiller is located in Menetou-Salon , in the Loire Valley. It is a family farm created in the 1950s by Léon Millet. In 1986, their son Jean-Jacques , after having worked as a cook, and his wife Monique , joined in this adventure. In 2003, their daughter Patricia and her husband Olivier joined them. The estate extends over an area of 18 hectares, and is located on the best slopes of the communes of Menetou-Salon, Parassy, Aubinges and Vignoux-sous-les-Aix. The entire estate has been certified organic since 2017, with biodynamic certification since 2022.

Menetou-Salon Blanc is made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on a 9-hectare plot, of which 3.5 hectares of vines are over 20 years old. The harvest takes place at optimal maturity and is de-stemmed before being put into direct pressing. The wine is aged in vats (95%) and in barrels (5%).
