The Cazottes Distillery is located in Villeneuve-sur-Vère in Tarn . Laurent Cazottes , heir to the know-how of a traveling distiller, cultivates his fruits and flowers in organic farming , using biodynamic practices. He has around 600 Williams variety pear trees, 200 Reine Claude Dorée plum trees, and vines since 2010. He produces brandies, liqueurs as well as aperitifs and wine.
Pomme Pomme Gueule is an apple brandy made from 19 varieties such as Crimson, Red Devil, Krown, Topaze, Ecolette, Santana, Joseph, Reinette d'Anjou, Pinova and Elstar. The apples are put in crates and then hulled, crushed and fermented without inputs. After slow distillation, the eau-de-vie is aged in demijohn and bottled as demand increases.
