VALLEIN TERCINIER - Lot 52 - Grande Champagne - Brut de cask - 43.90%
Vallein Tercinier is a brand of Cognac produced at Domaine des Forges in Chermignac. In 1850, Georges Vallein created a commercial entity and began selling his Cognac in bottles. Owner of the estate, distiller and trader in wines and spirits, he developed the House. His son Paul Vallein succeeded him and bought the Camille Dupuis company around 1920, which created its own blends and offered bottled Cognac. Louis Tercinier, his nephew, continued the activity alongside him and gave impetus to the House by developing its markets in Europe. Today, the owners are Louis and Catherine Tercinier , 5th generation.
This edition was selected by the La Maison du Whiskey team. This Cognac Grande Champagne Lot 52 was aged in a single barrel ( #666) of French oak; first in new oak barrels in a dry cellar before continuing to mature in red oak barrels in a humid cellar. It was transferred to demijohn in 2010 to preserve the intensity of the fruit. Only 60 bottles were produced.
