Domaine de Naisse - Brenot Beranger - Viré Clessé - Eglise de Quintaine 2021
Domaine de Naisse is located in Laizé, in the Mâconnais in the south of Burgundy . It was created in 1980 by Guy Beranger , first involved in a cooperative cellar, and who began vinifying at the property in 1997. Christophe Brenot joined him in 1999. The estate now extends over more than 20 hectares following the acquisition of plots in the Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Viré-Clessé appellations. The estate is today managed by Christophe and Elodie, his wife and daughter of Guy.
The Viré-Clessé Église de Quintaine is made from Chardonnay grown on a 0.60 hectare plot whose terroir is clay-limestone. The age of the vines is 40 years. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats (50%) and oak barrels (50%).
