Cidrerie du Vulcain - Extra dry cider - Iron cider 2021
La Cidrerie du Vulcain has been producing local ciders in the canton of Fribourg , Switzerland , since 2006. Jacques Perritaz , after his meeting with Eric Bordelet in Normandy, decided to use "forgotten " fruits from old isolated orchards and not treaties from the Pays de Fribourg, with a custom press to make natural ciders . Since 2013, he has undertaken the planting of a 4 hectare orchard with old juice, cider, perry and calva varieties called Les Vergers du Vulcain s . Its orchard is cultivated organically .
Iron Cider is made from Iron Apples , an old variety of cider apple called Bohnapfel and known for its tangy and slightly tannic juices. This dry cider has a slight deposit, ensuring it becomes foamy in the bottle.
