Domaine Chiroulet - Floc de Gascogne White - 17%

Domaine Chiroulet is located in the Gers, on the lands of Armagnac, in Gascony . It was created in 1893 and the property then covered 5 hectares dedicated to mixed farming and livestock. Alban Sourbès, winemaker and distiller experienced the dark years of phylloxera and managed the estate until 1935. The property was passed on to his niece, Suzanne Capmartin, and her husband Albert Fezas designed an extension project which did not come to fruition. because of the Second World War. It was his grandson and current owner Philippe Fezas who diversified the estate's activities. Nearing completion, the transition to organic farming reinforces a commitment that extends to the environment close to the vines, in an agroforestry project. This beneficial principle for the vine ecosystem makes it possible to relocate the biomass on the plots, to regulate the auxiliary fauna and the ambient microclimate. It is in a responsible spirit and a holistic approach that Domaine Chiroulet is operated.

Floc de Gascogne Blanc comes from the marriage of fresh juices (2/3) from Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, with a third of Blanche d'Armagnac from the estate. It is aged for several months in old oak barrels.
