Domaine de la Clartière - Cuvée Pierrot 2022

Domaine de la Clartière is located in Nueil-sur-Layon , in Anjou in the Loire Valley. It is a family estate for four generations of independent winegrowers today managed by Agnès, Pierrot, Pierre-Antoine and Edouard Pinet . The 32-hectare vineyard is in the process of being certified as High Environmental Value (HVE) and seven grape varieties are grown there. Domaine de la Clartière wines are mainly sold directly from the cellar or on the Vendée markets in the summer.

The Pierrot cuvée is a Coteaux du Layon produced every year, reflecting each vintage. The wine is made from harvested Chenin Blanc grapes arriving at over-ripeness and showing concentration on the stem due to natural raisining or the action of noble rot.
