Domaine des Bosquets - Gigondas Réserve 2021
Domaine des Bosquets is located in Gigondas , in the southern Rhône . It has a history that goes back six centuries, and since 2010, Julien Brechet has managed it. In 1995, the estate acquired a circular and gravity vat room, then in 2016 a plot workshop for micro-vinification. The 26 hectares are structured around different localities with great geological and micro-climatic diversity. The entire vineyard is managed in organic farming , certified since 2021.
The Reserve cuvée is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault whose average age of vines is 60 years. These old vines are cultivated on terroirs of limestone marl, sand and pebbles. The wine is aged for 18 months in barrels (228, 400, 500 and 600 liters) and in large containers (foudre and concrete vats).
