Domaine Claude Riffault - La Noue - Sancerre Red 2022

Domaine Claude Riffault is located in Sury-en-Vaux, in the heart of the Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley. The estate is managed by Stéphane Riffault , representative of the ^4th generation. He trained in Burgundy and at Château Angélus in Bordeaux. As soon as he took over the operation, he began converting the vineyard to organic farming and undertook parcel work of the vineyard. Each place has its own geographical and geological characteristics, the grapes are vinified and matured separately.

La Noue is made from Pinot Noir grown on a Kimmeridgian terroir at an altitude of 250 meters. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels of 228 to 600 liters .
