SWELL DE SPIRITS - Mexican Rum High Esters - Los Convidados - Batch n°1 - 64%

Swell de Spirits is an independent, family-run bottler based in Pessac, France. The company was established in 2021 by Michael Barbaria and Kelly . They release a variety of limited edition, bottled rum, whiskey, armagnac and cognac from distilleries around the world.

Los Convidados is a partnership between Michael Barbaria and his friends and associates Bruno Sarabia and Darian Penichet. This Mexican company specializes in Mexican spirits : mezcal, tequila, gin and rum.

This high ester rum from Mexico is made from local molasses and Mexican-style “muck pit” from the Jalisco region. It was distilled in March and June 2023 at the Satvrnal distillery . After 3 weeks of fermentation in wooden vats, a double distillation is carried out in a pot still. The rum is left to rest for 6 months in demijohns.
