Maison Mounicq was founded in 2017 by Cédrik Nadé , in Bordeaux . He grew up in Fronsac, on a small family wine estate. It uses grapes from the Bordeaux region to produce spirits.
La Fine de Bordeaux “Ô Chartrons” Renaissance No.4 is a collaboration between Maison Mounicq and Michel Jacquin, winemaker and distiller at Château Lartigue-Cèdres in Entre-Deux-Mers (Bordeaux). This grape brandy is made from Ugni Blanc and Sémillon. The harvest is distilled twice in a Chalvignac copper still. Ô Chartrons is the result of the blending of 3 Fine barrels : a 2022 barrel of 1 year of age, a 2020 barrel of 3 years of age and a 2019 barrel of 4 years of age.
