Domaine Loew - Riesling - Muschelkalk 2023
Domaine Loew is located in Westhoffen, Alsace . Heir to a family present in Westhoffen since the 18th century, Etienne Loew took over the wine-growing tradition of his ancestors in 1996 with his wife Caroline. The vineyard, managed in certified biodynamics , is worked with respect for the terroir in order to highlight the geological and climatic characteristics according to each grape variety.
This Riesling comes from the stony terroir of Muschelkalk . It comes from three plots planted between 1967 and 2007. The harvest is manual and fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on lees until spring. This wine is dry (3.2 g/L of residual sugars).
