The Awen Nature Distillery is located in La Bouëxière , Brittany . It was created by Julien Fanny in 2013. Absinthe Rouge is created and distilled in the same way as absinthes made before the ban in 1915. This particular recipe was the subject of a long year of research by the creator of the Awen Nature Distillery. It still retains a dominant note of wild plants and anise.
