Saint-James began its unique story thanks to the enlightened intervention of Reverend Edmond Lefebure, then superior father at the Brothers of Charity convent and passionate about chemistry. Quickly, he perceived the exceptional potential of the eaux-de-vie distilled near his hospital and decided to launch his own production. He thus created exceptional rums, recognized for their quality, under the emblematic name "Saint-James," a symbol of authenticity and Martinican know-how.

The cuvée Saint James Quintessence represents one of the most prestigious creations of the house. Following the 240th anniversary cuvée, this aged rum is the result of a carefully crafted blend from the greatest vintages of Saint James. It brings together very old and more recent rums, all resting for a minimum of 6 years in small barrels, thus ensuring optimal maturation. Marc Sassier, master distiller and renowned oenologist of Saint James, has created here an exceptional rum, ideal for lovers of refined tasting. This liquid treasure is presented in an elegant carafe, perfect to enhance every tasting moment.
