Magnificent terroir of Graves located a cannon's throw from the medieval fortifications of Bergheim. This terroir, by its gravelly structure and a marked water deficit in September, allows the obtaining of a real maturity of the grape skins when the vines are weak and the yield limited. Thus, the seal of the Engelgarten takes precedence over that of the various planted grape varieties. Large, tight, fatty and mineral white wine with a full and brilliant color, with aromas of cooked pear and orange peel, enveloped in intense minerality. Like all Graves, Engelgarten presents on the palate this characteristic warmth, these suave notes of ripe white fruits and on the finish, a rigor of all mineral construction that opens with a detailed and tight length. Very easy to use wine, like all white Graves.
Type: Dry, mineral, warm and stony wine, with a full and brilliant color, with aromas of cooked pear and orange peel, enveloped in an intense minerality.
