ICHIRO'S MALT - Mizunara Wood Reserve - 46.50%

If the origins of the single malts that make up this gourmet vatted are not officially revealed, they probably come, like the Double Distilleries, from Hanyu and Chichibu. Bottled without cold filtration, this pure malt has, as its name suggests, been matured in mizunara, the famous Japanese oak. The influence so specific of this precious wood is obvious: the saturated tasting of complex, spicy scents, marked by woody aromas is an invitation to stroll in the forest. The beautiful golden robe drawing on the bronze of this whiskey is in perfect harmony with its delicacy and its pastry profile.
