Elixir Distillers was established as Specialty Drinks in 1999 by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh, who also launched the Whisky Exchange retail website the same year. The company changed its name to Elixir Distillers in 2017.
'The Single Malts of Scotland' is a range of Single Malt whiskies produced by Elixir Distillers since 2005. Each edition is carefully selected from the casks of Elixir Distillers originating of the six whisky producing regions in Scotland. Only casks considered to have achieved the required quality and character will be bottled under the name The Single Malts of Scotland.
Elements of Islay is range of Islay Single Malts produced by Elixir Distillers since 2008. Each whisky is carefully selected and bottled at cask strength, without cold filtration or added coloring, with no indication of age. Each whisky is bottled either in a single cask or in individual batches of five to 20 casks from a single distillery to reflect the typical character of each of the Islay Malt distilleries. The name of each bottling is a chemical symbol version of the distillery name, with each subsequent version of that distillery being indicated as a number.
