BOLOGNE - White rum - Crude from the column - Le Distillat - 75.5%
The Bologna distillery was born in 1887 in Guadeloupe in the French West Indies. In a small paradise, between sea and mountains, it benefits from a magnificent volcanic soil perfectly suited to the flourishing of sugar canes. The typicality of Bologna rums is explained by all of the following factors: pure mountain spring water, optimal sun exposure, volcanic soil rich in minerals for the well-being of canes and this iodized air that brings this little saline touch. That's the magic of these rums: the conjunction of these natural elements.
And it doesn't stop there because Bologna is also the Black Cane. An old variety of cane that was abandoned for its low sugar production. But if it does not produce much, its juices are of an extreme quality! Bologna is the only distillery on the island which still has these canes. An exceptional aromatic potential which today is an integral part of the entire range of products from this fine house, such as the world famous Black Cane cuvée.
In 2019, an idea ... to present the purity of a column brut ... this is the birth of the cuvée Le Distillat. A white rum from red canes and black canes which has not experienced any reduction and which comes directly from the famous copper distillation column of the House of Bologna. The result is a magnificent rum between strength and sweetness with an alcohol content of 75.5%. The birth of the range with original fresh cane scents! To taste at least once in its life, pure or with a few drops of water to reduce the "heat" of alcohol.
